DOC PAR GRAND

Doc Par Grand is a 2018 bay stallion, standing at 14.2 hands and 1100 pounds. We call this stallion Sid, and he is by our deceased Poco Bueno bred reining stallion Royal Alta Doc and out of our top broodmare, Pars Three Grand. This handsome guy goes back to some of the great classics that we fell in love with at the very beginning of our breeding career. He is double bred King, double bred King Leo Bar, and double bred Quadrant. His pedigree also includes greats such as Poco Bueno, Poco Bueno Tom, Par Three, Par Threes King, Annie Echols, Lightening Bar, Dandy Doll, Doc Bar, Three Bars, Dandy Derby, and Lahekin Sue, among others. We have always loved the foundation reining and cutting lines, for their grit, heartiness, and athletic abilities. At just 5 years old, he already has 2 crops on the ground and his 3rd crop is due in 2024. Sid has that very distinctive confirmation of a reiner/cutter, which is so prevalent in his pedigree. He is low to the ground, has a strong shoulder, deep girth, deep hip, low in the hock, and an absolutely beautiful head. He is catty and quick, smooth, and can turn on a dime. So far, he has proved to be every bit the stallion his sire was, and we love what he has produced in his babies.
