This stallion is one smooth mover. He has been used as a match horse, used to pony/breeze TB colts on the track (never raced), and was started on the barrel pattern by Hayden Todd. His stride is long and elegant. He rides in a soft bit and he sure does hunt a barrel hard. The power in this horse is absolutely incredible. He has put that power and speed into every single foal he has produced. There are just some horses you climb on and say “wow” to before you even take a step. Hitman is that horse. He is gentle, personable, easy to handle, quiet, and such a gentleman. He absolutely loves to be loved on, and will stand there all day long for you to scratch on him. Those are the traits we like in our horses. We breed what we want to ride and train. We want the pedigree, confirmation, work ethic, strong/quiet minds, but we want that gentleness too. He’s eager to please, and we have yet to see any of his foals be any different. No matter which mare he has been crossed on, running or cow bred, his babies have all been quiet, easy to work with, quick footed, very smooth moving horses. 2024 will be his 4th foal crop, and we are so excited to see his babies beginning to have amazing careers!
